I am an American freelance Graphic Designer/Illustrator/Potter currently based in Perth, Scotland. My international lifestyle has had a tremendous impact on my career and artistic direction. My life has been spent moving around within Europe, the United States and the Middle East. I embrace the cultural diversity I am exposed to and feed off the new experiences and the inspiration I gain from them. When I began studying at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee in 2000, I knew I wanted to focus in the arts but wasn't sure in exactly what discipline. Through my explorations I discovered my passion for printmaking and later pursued a focus in Graphic Design. My career so far has been primarily in-house design and freelancing for a diverse group of international companies. In 2010, my career path shifted and I went in to teaching Graphic Design, Photography and Fine Art at a British school in Kuwait. My personal illustration and photography portfolio has been further developing throughout the career changes and a big part of my life and success. I am looking forward to any new artistic challenges and opportunities in the future.
